The stab proof vest "Basic Economic" has been specially developed to be worn quite discreetly under a sweatshirt or pullover. The vest is fully equipped with a 2.2 mm thick plastic harness. The Basic Economic vest has two pockets (front and back) to put in hard protection plates. This Basic Economic vest comes with two hard aluminum plates with a thickness of 1.6 mm K1 certified. The stab resistance on the hard plates with the plastic armor underneath is approximately 14 Joules. These two hard plates mainly protect the heart and stomach area in front and behind against a direct stab attack. The height of the plastic plate is limited and does not reach the shoulders in order to have sufficient freedom of movement.

Due to the use of two hard aluminum plates, the vest is also impact resistant and protects the wearer against stick and fist blows. The soft plastic armor provides basic protection against a broken glass attack while the plate offers protection against knives, awls and needles.

The vest is both above and on the sides, adjustable by means of a Velcro closure.

Objectively speaking, this is an elementary discrete stab-resistant basic vest that protects the most vital organs against a stab attack up to 14 Joule. This vest is suitable for places where there is already an access control for dangerous stabbing weapons and where the stab-resistant threat comes more from opportunity weapons such as broken glasses, small pocket knives, multi-tools or other small stabbing weapons.
